Perhaps you have never danced a step in your life or you have taken a class in the past, but never really felt engaged. Patience and empathy are key when beginning with a new student. Having an instructor that understands this concept is crucial to your overall experience. The rotation method of dance instruction used by the Just Dance staff assures that your learning will be fast, fun, and easy. Just Dance offers a variety of options for you to learn at your own pace.
Private Lessons offer you the best value. You will receive one-on-one, personalized instruction that will allow you and the instructor to focus more directly on the techniques, structure and styling of the dance being taught, and provides you with more immediate feedback and correction. By experiencing the physical sensation of directly connected movement, you can confidently re-create that movement and replicate the technique in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for your partners. Through learning the best methods, one-on-one, whether beginner or advanced, you will progress faster and more easily, as you experience the enjoyment of partner dancing.
Group Classes provide an immediate introduction to the experience of dancing with different partners, and gives you a chance to become familiar with a variety of steps and patterns. Since the partners rotate throughout the class, you have the opportunity to practice steps with different partners. This format reduces the anxiety some may feel in dancing with several partners, and promotes a comraderie that goes along with a shared learning experience. Group lessons are available weekly in the traditional social dance styles and latest club trends. Classes are offered at every level, from basic beginner through advanced competitive styling. Specialty classes are available for children and teens. After each group class the studio will be open for students and members of the dance community to have the opportunity to practice the specified style of dance.
Open-Floor Practice workshops are held weekly and following each scheduled class to allow you an opportunity to practice the techniques you have learned, in a comfortable environment with other students who are learning the same dance. You will have the opportunity to dance with more experienced dancers from the general dance community, students from other studios n the area, as well as your instructors, who will circulate on the dance floor, assisting with questions or demonstrating steps. Each open-floor workshop will be preceded by a lesson or demonstration of technique, styling or pattern for the style of dance being practiced.
